I lived my first eighteen years in the woods of Maine. Days were filled with music and exploration. I took every possible opportunity to track mud all through the house.

Since then, I’ve traveled, lived, and performed all over the globe. Highlights: the London Symphony Orchestra with Sir Simon Rattle, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, the Colorado Symphony, the Wu Tang Clan, Béla Fleck, Leslie Odom Jr., the Indigo Girls, Father John Misty, Amos Lee, and many, many others. I’ve stood on the stage of the Sydney Opera House, the Barbican, and Red Rocks Amphitheater, and wondered if it could get better than this.

These days, you can find me back in Maine—either playing in the dirt or playing the music I love most. I have positions in the Portland Symphony Orchestra and the Portland String Quartet, of which I am co-artistic director. Come see a show, and say hi. I love to chat.
